It is now over 70 years since Len Beck started his clothing business in Kingston upon Hull. With the developing expertise and experience of his highly trained and talented workforce, he established a manufacturing capacity bringing the "Beks" brand to the high quality marketplace. As time went by, there was a growing demand from the public and local stores for a garment alteration service.

 A special section was set up and has thrived for decades as a professional service providing an extensive capability - from simple shortening jobs to extensive re-makes.
